60-Day Money-Back Guarantee for Quality Related Issues

You may return your product within 60 days of purchase to receive a FULL REFUND for items received defective upon arrival. If the reason for return is not quality-related, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs. Please visit in order to enter your order information and process your refund/replacement.

24-Month Warranty

For all quality-related issues, we will issue a replacement or a refund within the first 60 days of purchase. After 60 days of purchase, the customer will be eligible for a replacement only. For replacements outside of the 90 days post purchase window the customer will not need to return their defective item, however, they will be asked to cover the shipping cost on their new item being sent out. We offer discounted shipping rates on our website for this.

24-Month Manufacturer’s Warranty

For all quality-related issues, we will issue a one time replacement. Within 60 days of purchase we will cover the return shipping, outside of this window the customer will be responsible for the cost of return shipping on their defective item to fulfill our warranty. If your order is older than 90 days, you will not be required to return your item, however, you will be asked to cover the cost of shipping your new item to you. For these instances, we do offer discounted shipping on our website using our rates. 


*Replacement batteries are not warrantied.* The warranty will become void if the customer opens the caps or seals on the top of the battery. If a battery is returned for a refund, it should not be damaged by the customer or look tampered with. We do not warrant damaged or abused batteries caused by overcharging or installation. 

All returns must be accompanied with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, authorized by our customer service, in order to be accepted. RMA numbers can be obtained at with the order number and first name. Please include provided RMA# on the outside of the box so our returns department can easily refer back to your order.

Any battery damaged during shipping must be reported to Chrome Battery within ten (10) days.

Please note, if we ship you the wrong battery, or the battery is defected/damaged during shipping, we will pay for the return shipping. If the incorrect battery is ordered or the battery is simply not needed any longer, the customer can return the battery for a refund within the first 60 days of the original purchase date and the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost. If it has been 60 days after the original order date, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost of the battery for a replacement, or the shipping costs of the new battery being sent out if the order is older than 90 days. Batteries will be replaced within the first 24 months of transaction if the battery tests badly after charging and load testing by our returns department. The warranty will become void if the customer opens the caps or seals on the top of the battery. If a battery is returned for a refund, it should not be damaged by the customer or look tampered with. We do not warrant damaged or abused batteries caused by overcharging or installation. We highly recommend proper packaging when shipping back batteries for warrantied replacements. If the battery is received back to us damaged, they will not be considered for replacement.

When sending a package back to us not utilizing our provided discounted shipping rates, it is highly recommended that you request delivery confirmation if you are shipping with USPS. Other major carriers, such as FedEx and UPS, will provide tracking numbers for your shipment. Chrome Battery will not be held responsible for lost or returned packages. All returns must be prepaid as we do not cover the cost of return shipping charges.

Replacement batteries will be shipped within 48 hours of receiving the testing results.

How do I get an RMA number? A: You need to visit our online returns website at

A: You will need to have your order number as well as the first name of who the order was shipped to. 

What if your returns site does not recognize the info I am trying to input and will not pull up my order?

A: For our returns site to work correctly you need to enter the info exact, if you are having issues with obtaining an RMA number via our returns website you can always contact our customer service department and they will be more than happy to help you with your return. Their contact number is 317-564-4278 and they are in the office Mon-Friday 8:30-4:30pm EST. 

Do we have to send our order back using your prepaid return label?

A: No you do not, everyone is more than welcome to ship their return back to us however they want, we also offer discounted return labels.

Do all of your products have an 24 month warranty?

A: No, almost all do except our Alkaline Packs do not have a warranty.

How long does it take to process a return?

A: This all depends on a few things, how fast the customer returns the battery back to us, how long it takes to charge and then test and then to ship this out and back to them. Usually the average return takes about 5-8 days from start to finish.

What happens if my battery tests good?

A: Once a battery arrives back to us we will charge the battery. We will then test not just the voltage but also do a load test to determine voltage, CCA, and Capacity (Ah). If the battery is found to be good we will contact you and have the original battery shipped back to you. The buyer will be responsible for the shipping.

What happens if I am returning the battery and it gets damaged in shipping on the way back to you guys, will my return not happen?

A: It all just depends this situation almost never happens so this is something that is addressed on a case by case basis.

How many days does a person have to return their item back and receive a full refund?

A: If the order is returned within the first 60 days no additional chargers will occur.

Are the times when my return could be prorated?

A: Our warranty is not prorated. It is an 24 month warranty.

My local post office would not let me return this battery due to it being hazmat?

A: This should never be the case as these are sealed batteries and they can be shipped by ground and air. Please make sure to state that. If for some reason you are still having issues with the post office allowing this to be returned please contact us immediately.

I went to your returns website and got an RMA number etc, however I am going out of town and will not be able to return the battery for several days is there a time limit on when I have to use this prepaid return label?

A: No that is not the case there is no expiration with the prepaid USPS return label.

If the battery does not fit, who is responsible for paying for the return shipping?

A: If we are responsible for providing incorrect fitment information to you, you will be sent a pre-paid return label to return the battery to us. If we did not provide fitment listing your item as compatible with your application, we will ask that you cover return shipping costs either on your own, or through our discounted rates.

Is their a restocking fee?

A: No, currently we do not have a restocking fee.

If I am returning this for a refund, how is it refunded?

A: Whatever card was used to purchase this will be the one that is refunded.

Locating Order Numbers:

Invoice: The upper right hand corner of the invoice in your box will show your order number.

Email: After purchase, you will get a confirmation email from wherever your item was purchased. This will hold your order number.

Sold By Amazon:

If the registration form is telling you, “No orders were found that match that number or the warranty period has expired.” and you purchased your item from Amazon follow the steps below to determine if your item was sold by Chrome Battery, or by Amazon on Amazon.

  1. Once signed into Amazon, go to the top right corner and click on Returns & Orders.
  2. In the top right there will be a search box that reads “search all orders”. Type in the brand of battery you have, or your order number.
  3. This should bring up your order. Right above the “buy it again” button it will say “sold by”. IF it says “Sold by: Chrome Battery” it was sold by Chrome Battery. IF it says “Sold by: Services LLC” then this product was sold by Amazon.
